Web Search Panel
The Web Search Panel displays the sources the Agent consulted while answering your question. It opens automatically on the right side of Agent whenever the Agent performs a web search or financial news search.
How It Opens
The panel appears automatically when the Agent uses either of the following tools:
- Web Search — General web search for market news, company information, macro events, and research
- Financial News Search — Targeted search for financial news, earnings announcements, and market-moving events
You can also reopen it at any time by clicking the Search Sources button in the conversation toolbar.
Panel Layout
Header
Shows the total number of search queries and results in the current conversation:

Query Groups
Results are organized by search query. Each group has a header chip showing:
- The search query text
- The number of results returned for that query
- A blue chip for web searches, an amber chip for financial news searches
Result Cards
Each result card shows:
- Favicon — The website's icon for quick source identification
- Title — The article or page title; click to open in a new tab
- Domain — The source website (e.g.
reuters.com,bloomberg.com) - Author — The article author, when available
- Date — Publication date, when available
- Thumbnail — Article image, when available
Click any card to open the source in a new tab and read the full content.
Footer
The footer summarizes the total sources across all searches in the conversation:

Closing the Panel
Click the × button in the top-right corner of the panel to close it.
