Social Media Agent

Social Media Agent

Tritonix can publish directly to your social media accounts on your behalf. After you connect an account, just tell the Agent what to post — it will research, summarize, and publish in a single conversation. Supported platforms: X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Discord.

Connecting Your Accounts

  1. Open the Settings page (click your avatar → Settings, or visit /settings).
  2. Go to the Connected Accounts tab.
  3. Click Connect next to the platform you want to authorize.
  4. You will be redirected to the platform's official authorization page. Log in and approve the requested permissions.
  5. Once authorized, you are returned to Tritonix. The platform button shows Connected.

Your passwords are never stored. Tritonix uses each platform's standard OAuth flow. Only the access token issued by the platform is stored, and you can revoke it at any time.

You can connect all three platforms independently. The Agent only uses a platform connection when you explicitly ask it to.

Publishing in a Conversation

Once an account is connected, you can ask the Agent to publish in plain language — no special syntax required.

Examples:

  • "Analyze TSLA's Q1 earnings and post a summary thread to X."
  • "Write a professional post about my macro outlook for Q3 and publish it to LinkedIn."
  • "Post my $BTC bull thesis to r/CryptoCurrency."
  • "Send an earnings alert for NVDA to the #signals channel on Discord."

The Agent will:

  1. Gather and analyze the relevant data (prices, news, filings, etc.)
  2. Draft the post content
  3. Show you a preview in the chat
  4. Publish to the connected account

After publishing, the Agent returns a confirmation with a direct link to the post.

The Agent never posts without your instruction. It will not publish, comment, or like anything on its own initiative.

Platform Capabilities

Platform What the Agent can do
X (Twitter) Post tweets and threads · Quote-tweet with your commentary · Search market sentiment by ticker · Like / unlike posts · View your timeline and mentions
LinkedIn Publish long-form posts (up to 3,000 characters) · Attach 1–9 chart images as a carousel
Discord Send messages to any channel you have bound in Settings · Attach rich-format embed cards with a title and summary

X — Threads and Quotes

To post a thread, ask the Agent to format the content as one:

"Post this as a numbered thread on X."

To quote-tweet, point the Agent to an existing tweet:

"Search for the most-liked bearish $TSLA tweet today and quote it with my counter-argument."

LinkedIn — Image Carousels

Upload your chart images via the paperclip icon in the chat input, then ask:

"Post this analysis to LinkedIn and attach the charts I uploaded."

The Agent supports up to 9 images per post.

Discord — Binding Channels

Before the Agent can post to Discord, you need to bind at least one channel in Settings → Connected Accounts → Discord. Follow the on-screen steps to select your server and channel. You can bind multiple channels and reference them by name:

"Send this alert to #macro-alerts."

To attach a rich embed card (title + summary block), ask the Agent:

"Send a formatted card to #signals: 'NVDA beat EPS by 8%, guidance raised.'"

Scheduling Social Posts

You can combine the Social Agent with Tritonix's Scheduled Tasks feature to post automatically on a recurring basis — no manual trigger needed.

Examples:

  • "Every Friday after market close, summarize my watchlist's weekly performance and post it to X automatically."
  • "Every weekday morning, post a pre-market brief to the #daily-brief Discord channel."

Once created, the scheduled task runs at the specified time. Results appear in the conversation with an unread indicator. You can manage tasks at any time:

  • "Show me all my scheduled tasks" — lists tasks with their status and schedule
  • "Pause the Friday X post" — suspends the task without deleting it
  • "Cancel the daily Discord brief" — permanently cancels it

See the full Scheduled Tasks guide for more details.

Disconnecting an Account

  1. Go to Settings → Connected Accounts.
  2. Click Disconnect next to the platform.
  3. The authorization is revoked immediately. The Agent can no longer post to that platform until you reconnect.

Tips & Best Practices

Be specific about the destination. The more clearly you name the platform and target (channel, audience), the better the Agent can tailor the tone and format.

Instead of: "Post this"
Try: "Post this to LinkedIn with a professional tone and attach the chart."

Review before recurring posts go live. For scheduled tasks that publish automatically, run the task manually once first to verify the output meets your expectations.

Use X threads for detailed analysis. Single tweets are capped at 280 characters. If your content is longer, ask the Agent to format it as a thread.

LinkedIn reaches a professional audience. Posts there tend to perform better with a more formal tone and supporting visuals. Attach chart images when relevant.

Discord channels are great for real-time alerts. For time-sensitive content (FOMC releases, earnings beats, breaking news), Discord is the fastest way to reach your team or community.
