Logistics firm Jianxin International reported a strong third quarter with EPS of NT$1.12, driven by expansion into AI and semiconductor supply chain services.
What Happened
Financial Results: Jianxin International reported a third-quarter consolidated revenue of NT$874 million and a net profit of NT$103 million, resulting in an EPS of NT$1.12. This performance marks the second-highest third-quarter profit in the company's history, with a significant 267.8% quarter-over-quarter growth in net profit.
Operational Drivers: The company's growth was fueled by increased volumes in traditional bulk cargo, copper ore transshipment, and natural gas pipeline handling. Despite the initial costs associated with the new smart logistics center, the company maintained healthy margins, with a gross margin of 28.25% and an operating margin of 17.40%.
Strategic Expansion: Jianxin is aggressively targeting the AI and semiconductor supply chain, securing contracts with major global AI firms, cloud service providers, and ABF substrate manufacturers at its new Taipei Port facility. These projects are already underway, marking a successful pivot toward high-value, integrated logistics services for the tech sector.
Future Outlook: Looking ahead, the company is focused on finalizing its smart logistics center and launching a second-phase cold chain facility by the end of 2026. By combining its established port logistics business with advanced smart warehousing, Jianxin aims to capture further demand for high-specification cargo management.
