Daishin Securities projects that Simmtech will exceed market expectations in Q3, driven by a higher mix of high-value products and technological advantages.
What Happened
Q3 Earnings Outlook: Daishin Securities forecasts that Simmtech's Q3 revenue and operating profit will surpass market consensus. Revenue is expected to rise 48.5% year-on-year to 553.5 billion KRW, with operating profit surging 576% to 83.7 billion KRW.
Growth Drivers: The strong performance is attributed to the expansion of 'Socam2' sales and an increased mix of high-value MSAP manufacturing processes. The company’s competitive edge is further highlighted by the full-scale supply of products for Nvidia servers to major memory manufacturers.
Profitability Gains: Profitability is set to improve significantly as the MSAP portion of production reaches 82% in the third quarter. This technical superiority supports the optimistic outlook for reaching 170 billion KRW in operating profit for the second half of the year.
Long-term Investment: Simmtech has secured a foundation for long-term growth by investing 274.2 billion KRW in new facilities, scheduled to begin operations in 2028. Daishin Securities maintains a 'Buy' rating, citing these strategic capacity expansions.
