Jing Mei reported record-breaking August revenue, with year-to-date figures already exceeding 2023's total, driven by strong demand for AI and HPC testing.
What Happened
Record Revenue: Jing Mei announced August consolidated revenue of NT$83.65 million, a 16.56% monthly increase and a 113.74% year-over-year surge, setting a new monthly record. The company has seen eight consecutive months of record-breaking performance, with cumulative revenue for the first eight months reaching 1.27 times its total 2023 revenue.
Growth Drivers: Management attributes the growth to increased demand for micro-drilling on probe card guides and test sockets. As AI and HPC chips require higher pin counts and more precise drilling, the value-add per unit has significantly increased, boosting overall revenue.
Technical Edge: Micro-drilling remains the company's highest-barrier product line, accounting for 31% of revenue year-to-date. Furthermore, stable orders from major global foundries and growth in Japanese ATE stiffener shipments provide a solid foundation for continued expansion.
Future Outlook: The company expects existing client projects to enter mass production in the second half of the year, supporting its goal of quarter-over-quarter growth. Jing Mei plans to continue increasing the proportion of high-precision and high-margin products to optimize profitability.
