Financial Performance: POYA reported July revenue of NT$2.47 billion, up 19.2% year-over-year, with a net profit of NT$340 million, representing a 55.9% increase compared to the same period last year. The monthly earnings per share (EPS) reached NT$3.22, prompting the disclosure due to regulatory requirements.
Store Expansion and Upgrades: The company currently operates 485 stores across Taiwan and continues to expand its footprint, including the development of the POYA Beauty concept. Additionally, 24 stores are scheduled for renovation this year to optimize product displays and store layouts, with early results showing improved operational performance.
Digital Transformation: POYA is accelerating its digital transformation by deploying more self-checkout kiosks and electronic shelf labels. The company expects to have 150 self-checkout units installed by the end of the year to reduce labor costs and improve operational efficiency.
Logistics and Private Labels: The existing logistics infrastructure is sufficient to support up to 800 stores, with no immediate plans for new construction. Moving forward, the company plans to focus on growing its private label segment by collaborating with suppliers to develop high-potential products.
