Contest Overview: Dunamu, the operator of the crypto exchange Upbit, has announced the '2026 Traditional Market Digital Innovation Idea Contest.' The event is organized in partnership with the Seoul Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration and the Small Enterprise and Market Service.
Key Categories: The competition focuses on two main areas: AI technology applications for traditional markets and blockchain-based digital innovation strategies. Participants can choose one of eight designated cultural tourism markets in Seoul to develop their proposals.
Support and Rewards: Finalists will receive intensive mentoring from Dunamu's blockchain experts, and winners will be awarded prizes including the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award. Even non-winning finalists will receive participation incentives.
Participation: University and graduate students in Seoul can apply individually or as teams until October 8. Selected ideas will have the opportunity to be implemented in actual market environments.
