Fortune Electric reports record-high September and year-to-date revenue, driven by strong demand for heavy electrical equipment and a massive order backlog.

What Happened

Operational Performance: Fortune Electric announced September revenue of NT$2.416 billion, an 11.27% year-on-year increase, with year-to-date revenue reaching NT$21.353 billion. Both monthly and cumulative figures set new historical records for the period, with analysts expecting continued profit growth as high-margin products gain share.

Competitive Edge: As the only domestic manufacturer with 345kV GIS certification, the company plays a vital role in Taipower’s grid resilience initiatives. The company aims for NT$26 billion in new orders this year, split between NT$17 billion from the public sector and NT$8 billion from private clients.

Semiconductor Integration: Fortune Electric has successfully entered the supply chain for major domestic wafer manufacturers, securing qualified supplier status for new plant construction. Deliveries for these GIS switchgear units are scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter.

Long-term Outlook: The company currently holds a backlog of NT$431 billion, with some project visibility extending as far as 2031. With an increasing contribution from private and international clients, the company’s revenue structure is improving, supporting a positive trend for future quarters.
