Forum Overview and Industry Focus: The Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and Deloitte co-hosted the "Leading Innovation" forum on October 7, drawing 18 companies from sectors including semiconductors, cloud services, and biotechnology. The event highlighted the strategic advantages of the Taiwan Innovation Board (TIB) and featured practical insights from Fu-Tian Electric on navigating the listing process.
Strategic Market Objectives: TWSE Chairman Lin Hsiu-ming emphasized that the exchange is positioning the TIB as a parallel main board to support high-growth, innovative enterprises. As of September 2026, 31 companies with critical technologies have listed on the TIB, with over half demonstrating profitability at the time of application, underscoring the board's role in fostering future industry leaders.
Comprehensive Support and Market Liquidity: To facilitate growth, the TWSE provides end-to-end services, including customized ESG and IR consulting, as well as professional research reports. The exchange has also introduced market-making incentives and included TIB companies in warrant underlying assets and major indices to enhance market visibility and liquidity.
Governance and Future Outlook: Deloitte President Ko Chih-hsien stressed the importance of robust corporate governance, particularly regarding intellectual property and AI integration, as companies scale. The TWSE remains committed to its "Asia's Nasdaq" vision, leveraging international platforms to help Taiwanese firms expand globally and secure their competitive edge.
