Lawsuit Motivation: Taisun Enterprise has filed a civil lawsuit in Taipei District Court against Zhonglian Oil and its partners—Fwusow, Formosa Oilseed, and Namchow—seeking NT$1 billion in damages. Taisun claims that the partners failed to disclose critical safety information in a timely manner, leading to significant financial and reputational harm.
Information Gap: Taisun argues that Namchow detected oil abnormalities in mid-May but failed to report them, causing Taisun to continue production based on its own compliant test reports.
