Taiwan Lottery Announces NT$400 Million Mid-Autumn Festival Promotion with New Prize Tiers

cnyes · 2026-09-08

Taiwan Lottery has launched its Mid-Autumn Festival campaign, featuring a NT$400 million prize pool and new winning tiers for 'Grand Lottery' players.

What Happened

Mid-Autumn Festival Promotion: Taiwan Lottery has officially kicked off its annual Mid-Autumn Festival campaign, allocating a total of NT$400 million in additional prize money. The initiative is expected to boost sales by approximately NT$1.45 billion, covering popular games like the Grand Lottery, BINGO BINGO, and the 39-Lottery.

Enhanced Grand Lottery Prizes: Starting September 15, the Grand Lottery will introduce 6,000 new prizes of NT$5,000 each, alongside the existing 70 sets of NT$1 million prizes. These smaller prizes are designed to be more accessible, as they are fixed amounts that are exempt from tax and do not require splitting among multiple winners.

Expert Betting Strategy: General Manager Hsieh Chih-hung shared professional tips on using 'system betting' (package betting) to increase winning odds. By selecting seven or eight numbers, players can significantly improve their chances of securing multiple smaller prizes, which can accumulate into a substantial total payout.

Diverse Gaming Options: The promotion extends to BINGO BINGO and the 39-Lottery, with various bonus incentives and flash events scheduled throughout the holiday period. The company encourages responsible gaming, emphasizing that small-scale participation supports public welfare while adding excitement to the festive season.
