Equity Agreement: As part of the deal, Qualcomm will grant stock warrants to Amazon linked to the purchase of server chips and services. If Amazon's purchases reach $60 billion over the next decade, the warrants could be worth approximately $5.4 billion.
Business Diversification: This partnership is a key component of Qualcomm's strategy to grow its data center revenue to $15 billion by 2029. By expanding beyond mobile chips, the company aims to establish itself as a major player in the AI infrastructure market.
