Advancing Sustainability Adoption: To prepare for the third phase of IFRS sustainability disclosure standards adoption in 2028, the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and its partners are organizing a series of seminars to help listed companies understand the implementation roadmap.
Policy Adjustments: The Financial Supervisory Commission has revised the policy blueprint, narrowing the scope of companies subject to the third phase and introducing transition measures to balance compliance costs with the need for high-quality sustainability information.
Seminar Highlights: The seminars will feature experts from regulatory bodies and accounting firms who will provide guidance on implementation timelines, practical applications, and IFRS S2 disclosure examples to help firms enhance their risk management.
Registration Details: The seminars will be held in Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, and Kaohsiung, with online registration opening on October 12. Listed companies are encouraged to participate to ensure a smooth transition to the new sustainability reporting requirements.
