TWSE Simplifies Innovation Board Trading, Removes Risk Disclosure Requirement

Commercial Services · Financial Publishing/Services · economic_daily · 2026-10-20

The Taiwan Stock Exchange has abolished the risk disclosure signing requirement for Innovation Board investors to align with international standards.

What Happened

Policy Adjustment: The TWSE board has decided to simplify trading procedures for the Innovation Board by removing the requirement for investors to sign a risk disclosure statement before their first trade. This move is intended to lower barriers to entry and enhance trading efficiency.

International Alignment: The exchange noted that the Innovation Board has been operational for over five years with mature disclosure mechanisms. Given that major international capital markets do not impose such mandatory signing requirements, the adjustment aligns Taiwan with global practices.

Listing Approvals: The board also approved the listing applications for four companies: Coloda-KY, DaDa Broadband, Bellwether, and Xudong Machinery. Notably, Coloda-KY will be listed on the Innovation Board as a primary listing.

Future Impact: This policy change is expected to increase investor participation and convenience on the Innovation Board. With more companies joining, the market's liquidity and diversity are likely to improve, fostering innovation within the Taiwan capital market.
