Relay manufacturer Song Chuan Precision saw record-breaking July revenue and profit, driven by robust demand for AI and energy storage solutions.
What Happened
Record Financial Performance: Song Chuan Precision achieved a historic milestone in July with revenue reaching 986 million TWD, marking a 99.38% year-over-year increase. Monthly net profit surged by 196% to 122 million TWD, bringing the cumulative EPS for the first seven months of 2026 to 7.05 TWD.
Surging AI and Power Demand: The company is benefiting significantly from the strong demand for data center, server power, and UPS applications. High-voltage and high-current product lines have seen their revenue contribution rise to 17%, with shipment values jumping 80% compared to the previous year.
Global Capacity Expansion: To support major power clients expanding in Texas, Song Chuan is aggressively investing over 400 million TWD to boost capacity in Mexico and Vietnam. The company is currently considering a further upward revision of its capital expenditure to meet the growing needs of its supply chain partners.
Strategic Market Positioning: Following the acquisition of Tai-Hsing Electronics and strategic price adjustments, Song Chuan has seen improved margins since Q2. With 40% of its revenue now tied to electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, the company remains well-positioned for long-term growth.
