Heat exchanger manufacturer Kaori reported a strong July, with EPS reaching NT$1.08, as the company expands capacity to meet rising demand for AI server cooling.
What Happened
Strong Monthly Earnings: Kaori reported July revenue of NT$920 million, a 57.6% year-over-year increase, with a net profit of NT$100 million and an EPS of NT$1.08. This growth is primarily fueled by the accelerating construction of AI data centers and the resulting demand for thermal management and power infrastructure.
Core Cooling Business: Plate heat exchangers have become Kaori's flagship product. As AI servers require higher power and liquid cooling adoption rates rise, the company has seen a significant rebound in shipments in Q3, with analysts expecting continued growth as new AI server platforms are deployed.
Capacity Expansion: To capitalize on the AI cooling boom, Kaori is aggressively expanding its production footprint. The company has invested NT$2.38 billion in a new facility in Taoyuan and allocated 700 million Thai Baht for a new plant in Thailand, totaling approximately NT$3 billion in capital expenditure.
Positive Outlook: As liquid cooling becomes essential for high-power AI data centers, Kaori is well-positioned to benefit from the ongoing expansion of AI infrastructure. Through strategic capacity investments and technological leadership, the company is poised to maintain its growth trajectory in the global AI supply chain.
