Automotive lighting manufacturer Ruyi successfully debuted on the OTC market, with air conditioning compressor maker Yong-Sheng expected to follow in late October.

What Happened

Ruyi Listing: Automotive lighting manufacturer Ruyi debuted on the OTC market yesterday, closing at 25.15 TWD, which outperformed its 24 TWD offering price. Benefiting from steady growth in its core lighting business and investment income from Indonesia, the company reported a net profit of 97.55 million TWD for the first half of the year, a 149% year-over-year increase, with an EPS of 2.23 TWD.

Industry Momentum: Following Ruyi's listing, other automotive component manufacturers are preparing to enter the capital market, with air conditioning compressor maker Yong-Sheng Electric expected to list in late October. Yong-Sheng specializes in the aftermarket (AM) segment and is one of the few global players with significant in-house manufacturing capabilities.

Market Strategy: Ruyi's client base spans Taiwan, Japan, and Malaysia, including major brands like China Motor, Honda, and Gogoro. Through a joint venture in Indonesia, Ruyi has successfully penetrated the local OEM lighting market, with investment income becoming a key pillar of its overall profitability.

Future Outlook: The Taiwanese automotive component industry continues to attract capital market interest due to its strong manufacturing prowess and dominance in the AM sector. The listings of Ruyi and Yong-Sheng highlight the growth potential and increasing global importance of Taiwan's automotive supply chain.
