Grape King Bio's August revenue fell 20.14% year-on-year, but the company remains focused on long-term growth through new international market entries.
What Happened
Revenue Decline: Grape King Bio reported August consolidated revenue of NT$706 million, a 20.14% year-on-year decrease. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months also saw a slight decline of 5.36%, impacted by shifts in shipment timing and market conditions in China.
International Expansion: The company officially launched its UVACO direct-selling business in Malaysia, which has shown promising initial results. Efforts to deepen partnerships in the U.S. and Southeast Asian markets continue to be a priority for long-term growth.
Operational Adjustments: While the Shanghai business faces competitive pressures, the company is diversifying its channels, including new product collaborations with retailers like Hema Fresh. The group is also integrating AI technology to enhance its retail and marketing efficiency.
Q4 Outlook: Despite current headwinds, management expects a recovery in the fourth quarter. By leveraging new product launches and the maturation of its international operations, the company aims to stabilize performance and return to growth.
