FamilyMart Taiwan reported a record-breaking August revenue of NT$9.92 billion, driven by seasonal demand and successful cross-border product collaborations.
What Happened
Revenue Performance: FamilyMart Taiwan announced August consolidated revenue of NT$9.922 billion, a 3.3% year-over-year increase and a record high for the month. Year-to-date revenue reached NT$77.08 billion, representing a 7% growth compared to the same period last year.
Growth Drivers: The performance was fueled by store expansion, strong demand for cooling products during the summer, and successful Mid-Autumn Festival and Ghost Festival promotions. Additionally, cross-border collaborations with FamilyMart Japan and popular gift brands significantly boosted sales.
Marketing Innovation: To address the hot and rainy weather in August, the company launched a new line of functional fruit smoothies, successfully tapping into consumer demand for healthy and refreshing options. As of the end of August, the total number of FamilyMart stores reached 4,522.
Future Outlook: Looking ahead to September, FamilyMart is focusing on the back-to-school breakfast market, international sports events, and Mid-Autumn Festival gift and barbecue demand. Through continued food innovation and seasonal marketing, the company expects to maintain its growth trajectory.
