Yield Trends: South Korean government bond yields showed a broad downward trend in the Seoul bond market on the 24th. While the 3-year Treasury yield rose slightly by 0.2bp to 3.856%, most other maturities experienced declines.
Maturity Breakdown: The 10-year Treasury yield saw a notable drop of 2.9bp to 4.347%. Similarly, the 5-year and 2-year yields fell by 1.4bp and 0.4bp, respectively, indicating a general easing of interest rates across the curve.
Long-term Outlook: Ultra-long-term bonds, including the 20-year, 30-year, and 50-year maturities, also recorded declines. The 30-year yield closed at 4.694% (down 0.9bp), while the 50-year yield settled at 4.615% (down 0.8bp).
