Wantech reported record-breaking September revenue of NT$1.1 billion, a 58.4% year-on-year increase, as the company ramps up production for low-orbit satellites and AI server components.
What Happened
Revenue Performance: Wantech achieved a record-breaking monthly revenue of NT$1.104 billion in September, marking a 58.4% year-on-year surge. The third quarter also saw record revenue of NT$3.23 billion, contributing to a strong performance for the first nine months of the year.
Operational Outlook: Chairman Chang Ming-lie stated that order visibility remains high through October, supporting the company's confidence in surpassing the NT$10 billion annual revenue milestone. Management expects strong performance to continue into the fourth quarter and maintains a double-digit growth target through 2027.
Satellite Strategy: The company is expanding its footprint in the low-orbit satellite market, with shipments of ground-based equipment growing steadily. Satellite products currently account for approximately 7% of total revenue, with a target to increase this share to 10-15% in the future.
AI and High-End Tech: Wantech is developing high-value products including AI server power cables and liquid cooling leak detection lines, with shipments expected by late 2026. Additionally, high-frequency copper wires are being deployed in emerging AI applications such as drones and collaborative robots.
