Sampo anticipates a strong Q1 performance driven by appliance demand and price adjustments, while its Guishan plant redevelopment promises long-term rental income.
What Happened
Operational Outlook: Sampo reports that year-end energy-saving appliance subsidies and upcoming price hikes of 3% to 5% on new products will support performance. The company aims for Q4 revenue to remain flat year-over-year, with Q1 growth expected during the peak year-end banquet season.
Asset Monetization: The company is actively developing its Guishan plant, with Phase 1 Area A fully leased and Area B currently in negotiations. Delivery is expected in Q1 2027, with rental income projected to begin in Q2 at approximately NT$4 million per month.
Rental Revenue: Industry estimates suggest that combined with Area A, total annual rental income could reach NT$70 million by 2027. The company plans to evaluate market conditions before proceeding with the second phase of the development.
Strategic Focus: By balancing core appliance sales with strategic real estate utilization, Sampo aims to diversify its revenue streams. This dual-track approach is designed to strengthen the company's financial position and provide long-term stability.
