Gamania is investing NT$500 million in an Edge AI computing center while leveraging hit game titles to target a return to profitability in the third quarter.

What Happened

AI Transformation Strategy: Gamania is aggressively expanding into AI and AIDC, investing NT$500 million to upgrade its data center into an Edge AI computing hub. The company expects AI to contribute significantly to revenue starting next year, aiming for a balanced portfolio of self-developed games, licensed games, and AI services within three years.

Gaming Momentum: The core gaming business is showing recovery, driven by the popularity of the classic MapleStory version and an upcoming major update for Lineage M in Q4. Licensed games currently account for approximately 80% of the group's total revenue.

Computing Center Progress: Gamania has deployed NVIDIA GPUs in its facility and has already secured two anchor clients. Due to limited data center capacity in Northern Taiwan, the firm is scouting for a second site and is currently managing over five enterprise projects, some extending through 2028.

Future Outlook: Chairman Albert Liu emphasized that the profit potential of AI services may eventually surpass traditional game licensing. The group plans to continue leveraging both AI and gaming as primary growth engines to enhance overall operational performance.
