Strong Financial Results: Chunghwa Cybersecurity reported a record-breaking first half for 2026, with consolidated revenue of NT$1.182 billion and a net profit of NT$251 million, representing year-over-year growth of 21% and 13%, respectively. Cumulative revenue for the first seven months of the year rose 19%, maintaining a strong upward trajectory.
Business Performance: Recurring revenue streams, such as internet security and monitoring services, accounted for 47% of total revenue, driven by strong client retention. One-time project revenue, which made up 53% of the total, saw significant contributions from government, financial, and high-tech sectors, with proprietary product sales growing by 54%.
AI Security Strategy: The company is capitalizing on the growing demand for AI-related security, including red teaming and penetration testing, to address risks posed by frontier AI models. The successful launch of the AI Archway governance tool confirms that AI-driven services are becoming a core pillar of the company's revenue growth.
Future Outlook and Initiatives: Management expects steady growth in recurring revenue for the second half of the year, supported by a robust pipeline of project contracts. Additionally, the company has introduced the 'Anti-Fraud Captain' app, which uses proprietary AI to help the public identify potential fraud while ensuring user privacy.
