Yulon Motor has implemented a quality tracking system at its Sanyi plant to support Q4 exports to Australia and New Zealand while expanding its energy business.

What Happened

Export and Production Strategy: Yulon Motor has upgraded its Sanyi manufacturing facility with a new quality tracking system to meet international standards. The company is preparing to fulfill export orders for Mitsubishi Motors, with deliveries scheduled for the fourth quarter to support the brand's launch in Australia and New Zealand.

Financial Performance: Despite intensifying market competition, Yulon reported a 9% year-on-year increase in consolidated operating profit for the first half of the year. The company also set an annual revenue target of NT$5.9 billion for the Yulon City shopping complex, representing an 8% growth compared to the previous year.

Energy and International Expansion: Yulon's energy storage business has reached a cumulative scale of 15MW and achieved profitability in the second quarter. Furthermore, the company is successfully replicating its business model in the Philippines, where initial results from new repair and maintenance service centers have exceeded expectations.

Future Outlook: The company's second-half growth will be driven by the mass production of Foxtron's Cavira electric vehicle and the expansion of its energy engineering services. Yulon remains committed to its long-term partnership with Foxtron while focusing on building a scalable and profitable platform for its overseas operations.
