Smart Geothermal Deployment: Taiwan Mobile has collaborated with Jye-Yuan Energy to launch Taiwan's first geothermal power plant integrated with 5G and AI-RAN technology. Located in New Taipei City, the project is supported by the National Development Council's AI industry initiative to enhance renewable energy management.
Ecosystem Growth: The company's AI service platform has successfully integrated 14 partners, generating NT$35 million in value to date. Taiwan Mobile aims to leverage this modular AI architecture to expand its footprint into sectors such as semiconductors, petrochemicals, and general manufacturing.
Operational Efficiency: By implementing a "6+2" innovation suite—including autonomous inspection robots, generative AI maintenance support, and 5G private networks—the plant has achieved a 20% increase in inspection efficiency and a 5% boost in summer power generation. These tools provide real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance capabilities for geothermal assets.
Global Expansion: Beyond domestic success, Taiwan Mobile is exporting its smart security and 5G solutions to international markets, including Indonesia and Thailand. The company has also signed a memorandum of understanding with a German firm to export its 5G private network and O-RAN architecture expertise.
