These technologies aim to leverage ICT to improve urban traffic management and energy efficiency.
EV Charging Ecosystem: Addressing the growing demand for electric vehicles, Far EasTone provides an end-to-end charging solution covering site planning, platform management, and payment integration. The company has deployed charging infrastructure across various public and commercial sites while supporting government efforts to electrify public bus fleets.
Connected Signal Management: Utilizing 5G and 4G technology, Far EasTone connects traffic signals with control centers to enable remote monitoring and dynamic traffic management. This system has already been implemented in cities like Taipei and Taoyuan, with plans to offer customized solutions for other regions.
Infrastructure Resilience: To ensure continuous operation of traffic signals, Far EasTone has developed a Smart UPS that provides backup power during outages.
