Quanta Computer reported August revenue of NT$423.97 billion, up 1.76x year-on-year, as AI server demand continues to drive record-breaking growth.

What Happened

Record Revenue Growth: Quanta Computer's August revenue reached NT$423.97 billion, setting a new monthly record with a year-on-year increase of 1.76 times. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached NT$2.64 trillion, more than doubling compared to the same period last year.

AI Server Outlook: The company reaffirmed its target of doubling AI server revenue for the year. Samples of its next-generation platform are expected to ship by the end of this quarter, with small-scale shipments in Q4 and mass production slated for Q1 of next year.

PC Business Performance: While the PC market continues to face headwinds, Quanta noted that its first-half performance was better than expected. The company anticipates a quarter-on-quarter decline of over 20% in PC shipments for Q3, with a double-digit decline expected for the full year.

Strategic Shift: Quanta emphasized that its server business has become the primary growth engine, successfully offsetting the decline in the PC segment. The company remains focused on optimizing its product mix to capitalize on the ongoing AI infrastructure boom.
