Major Contract Win: Sanyo Industrial (1472-TW) announced that its subsidiary, Shang-Ting Construction, has partnered with Pan Asia Corporation to secure the C705S contract for the National Highway No. 7 project. The total value of the contract is NT$17.9 billion, with Shang-Ting holding a 49% stake and completion expected by September 2031.
Strategic Infrastructure: The new highway section is a critical component of Kaohsiung's transportation network, designed to alleviate traffic congestion on National Highway No. 1. The project aims to improve connectivity for the metropolitan area and enhance overall regional logistics efficiency.
Backlog Growth: With this new win, Sanyo Industrial's total unbilled order backlog has reached approximately NT$35 billion. The company expects to recognize revenue progressively as construction milestones are met, providing long-term visibility for its financial performance.
