What Happened
Strong Revenue Growth: Delta Electronics reported August revenue of NT$64.586 billion, a 35% year-over-year increase, while Lite-On Technology reached NT$19.592 billion, marking a 25% year-over-year gain and a 95-month high.
Increased Capital Expenditure: Delta Electronics has raised its 2024 capital expenditure forecast to NT$70 billion, a significant increase from last year, to accelerate global factory expansion and meet robust demand from AI data center clients.
Global Expansion Strategy: The company is simultaneously expanding production capacity across Taiwan, China, Thailand, and the U.S., with several new facilities expected to come online next year to support long-term growth.
Lite-On's Cloud Momentum: Lite-On’s cloud and IoT division performed exceptionally well, fueled by strong shipments of power management systems for AI servers and high-end optocouplers, contributing to overall revenue stability.
