Macronix has achieved its sixth straight month of record revenue, with year-to-date performance already surpassing its previous annual high.
What Happened
Revenue Performance: Macronix reported a September consolidated revenue of NT$8.367 billion, marking the sixth consecutive month of record-breaking monthly performance with a 188.2% year-over-year increase. Year-to-date revenue reached NT$53.831 billion, surpassing the company's previous annual record set in 2021.
Product Momentum: The company is utilizing a monthly pricing strategy for its eMMC and SLC NAND products, sustaining upward price momentum. Demand for 8GB and 16GB products remains strong, while 32GB eMMC production is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter.
AI and Automotive: The NOR Flash business is benefiting from AI server upgrades, with strong demand for high-density, high-reliability products. Additionally, the automotive sector is showing signs of recovery, providing a stable foundation for the company's operations.
Expansion Plans: To address long-term demand, Macronix has increased its capital expenditure budget to NT$37.8 billion. The company aims to increase its 12-inch monthly capacity to over 30,000 wafers, with significant capacity contributions expected to begin in 2027.
