Kuang Lung anticipates a return to revenue growth in Q3 as demand from major clients rebounds across its garment, down, and home textile business units.
What Happened
Q3 Growth Outlook: During its investor conference, Kuang Lung announced that it has entered its traditional peak production and shipping season. With rebounding demand from major clients and increased capacity utilization, the company expects to return to revenue growth in the third quarter.
Strong Performance Across Segments: The company reported August revenue of NT$843 million, a 42.4% year-over-year increase, driven by growth in its garment, down, and home textile divisions. After a challenging first half marked by inventory adjustments and rising costs, operations have stabilized significantly.
Order Visibility and Client Expansion: Order visibility for the garment division now extends into the first quarter of 2027. Kuang Lung is deepening its presence in the outdoor and functional apparel markets, with new large-scale orders from U.S. outdoor brands starting in September.
Strategic Optimization: By leveraging flexible production across regions and optimizing its product mix, Kuang Lung is expanding into knitwear and daily functional apparel. These strategic initiatives are expected to improve margins and provide a solid foundation for long-term growth.
