PCB material supplier ITEQ and substrate manufacturer Kinsus reported significant year-over-year profit growth in August, driven by high-end product demand.
What Happened
Strong Financial Results: Following regulatory requirements for attention stocks, ITEQ and Kinsus disclosed their unaudited financial results for August. ITEQ reported a net profit of NT$924 million, a year-over-year increase of 852.58%, while Kinsus reported NT$817 million, up 353.89%.
ITEQ's Growth Drivers: ITEQ achieved an EPS of NT$2.54 in August, with monthly profit reaching approximately 72.2% of its total Q2 earnings. This surge is attributed to tight supply and price hikes in the high-end CCL market, alongside the ramp-up of new production capacity.
Kinsus's Transformation: Kinsus's profit jump reflects the successful transition into high-end IC substrate manufacturing. The company's focus on advanced packaging materials has significantly improved its profitability and market positioning.
Market Outlook: The robust performance of both companies underscores the strong demand for high-end electronic components. Analysts will continue to monitor whether these growth trends persist as production capacities expand further.
