Fanwell Material achieved record-high August and year-to-date revenue, fueled by strong demand for AI servers, industrial computers, and automotive solutions.
What Happened
Financial Performance: Fanwell Material announced August revenue of NT$133 million, a 1.12% year-on-year increase, with year-to-date revenue reaching NT$1.105 billion, up 22.98%. Both figures represent historical highs for the period, driven primarily by surging shipments in industrial computing and AI server applications alongside growth in its 3M distribution business.
Growth Drivers: The company has successfully expanded its high-value electronic functional materials, including thermal management and electromagnetic shielding solutions. Revenue from terminal applications in AI servers and industrial computers grew by 188% compared to the same period last year, while increased electric vehicle deliveries bolstered demand for automotive insulation products.
Global Strategy: In response to geopolitical shifts and supply chain regionalization, Fanwell is strengthening its production footprint in Southeast Asia, specifically Vietnam and Malaysia. These facilities have already secured new orders for laptops and smart home appliances, with mass production expected to ramp up by the end of the fourth quarter.
Future Outlook: Management remains cautiously optimistic for the second half of the year, focusing on high-end markets such as HPC and smart appliances. By leveraging its global supply network and advanced material technologies, the company aims to capture emerging AI hardware upgrade opportunities and expand its high-value product portfolio.
