Major brokerage firms project 2026 shipments for NVIDIA's GB NVL72 rack-scale platforms to reach 80,000-85,000 units, with Wistron highlighted for strong growth.
What Happened
Market Outlook: Major brokerage firms have conducted research on NVIDIA's GB NVL72 series, projecting total shipments for 2026 to reach between 80,000 and 85,000 units. This rack-scale liquid-cooled platform is specifically engineered to support trillion-parameter large language models and AI inference tasks.
Supply Chain Analysis: Projections indicate that Quanta is expected to ship 2,500–2,550 units, Foxconn approximately 2,600 units, and Wistron between 2,300 and 2,400 units. While all three are key players, analysts have expressed a specific preference for Wistron based on current market trends.
Wistron Performance: Wistron reported a 50% year-on-year increase in August revenue, significantly outperforming expectations due to robust demand for enterprise-grade AI server projects. The company's AI server rack shipments doubled compared to July, signaling strong operational momentum.
Earnings Revision: Following these results, analysts have revised their EPS forecasts for Wistron for 2026-2028 to 16, 19.5, and 24.4 NTD, respectively. Consequently, the brokerage has raised its target price for the stock, applying a 15x P/E valuation for the 2026-2027 period.
