PCB drill bit manufacturer Topoint Technology reports record-breaking August revenue, with year-to-date performance already exceeding the total for 2025.

What Happened

Strong Revenue Growth: Topoint Technology reported an August revenue of NT$771 million, marking a 5.5% monthly increase and a 97.75% year-over-year surge. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months of the year has reached NT$4.667 billion, successfully surpassing the full-year total of NT$4.41 billion recorded in 2025.

Capacity Expansion Strategy: To meet robust market demand for PCB drill bits, Topoint is aggressively expanding its production capacity. The company aims to reach a monthly output of 45 million units by the end of this year, with a long-term goal of 90 million units per month by 2028, supported by a planned capital expenditure of NT$3 billion for 2026.

Product Mix Optimization: Driven by strong demand from AI servers and high-performance computing, Topoint has successfully optimized its product mix, with high-end coated drill bits accounting for 56% of its output. Price adjustments implemented in the first half of the year have helped offset rising tungsten raw material costs, leading to a significant 2.85-fold year-over-year increase in second-quarter net profit.

Capital Raising Initiatives: The company plans to raise over NT$1.68 billion through a combination of NT$480 million in unsecured convertible bonds and a cash capital increase of 4,000 shares. Managed by MasterLink Securities, these fundraising efforts are intended to bolster the company's financial position for ongoing expansion and operational development.
