ASPEED Chairman Lin Hung-ming expects growth in 2025, noting that 2027 orders already surpass this year's revenue as supply chain constraints ease.
What Happened
Order Outlook: ASPEED Chairman Lin Hung-ming stated that AI infrastructure demand is robust, with the order backlog for 2027 already exceeding the total revenue for this year. The company has also secured Design Wins for 2028, indicating sustained long-term growth momentum.
Operational Constraints: Despite significant revenue growth in the first half of the year, the company was unable to fully meet client demand due to supply chain bottlenecks. As these constraints ease, operations are expected to continue growing through the third and fourth quarters, with further improvements anticipated in the first quarter of next year.
Pricing Strategy: To offset rising upstream costs, ASPEED plans to implement double-digit price hikes starting in the fourth quarter. Combined with new product introductions and an optimized product mix, the company aims to challenge an average selling price (ASP) of $20 next year.
Market Position: As a key component supplier for AI infrastructure, ASPEED continues to expand its market share and technical advantages in AI servers. The primary challenge for future growth has shifted from demand-side uncertainty to the ability to secure sufficient supply chain capacity.
