Sector Trends: The electronics and optical industry led the expansion at 65.2%, followed by the electrical and machinery equipment sector. Five out of the six major industries reported an optimistic outlook for the next six months, with the exception of the transportation sector.
Supply Chain Hurdles: Manufacturers are grappling with material shortages, allocation issues, and long lead times, compounded by rising input costs. Low customer inventory levels for three consecutive months suggest robust end-market demand, though supply-side constraints persist.
