Dongpu Precision reports record-breaking revenue for the first eight months of 2026, driven by strong demand for AI data center power distribution components.

What Happened

Revenue Growth: Dongpu Precision reported August 2026 revenue of NT$370 million, a record high for the period with a 79.8% year-over-year increase. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached NT$2.594 billion, already exceeding the total revenue for the full year of 2025.

AI Market Expansion: The company began high-volume shipments of power distribution components for AI data centers in the third quarter. These components, including paddle units and overhead distribution systems, are expected to improve overall gross margins and sustain growth throughout the second half of the year.

Strategic Globalization: To enhance production flexibility and global competitiveness, Dongpu is expanding its regional footprint, including a new 600 million THB investment in a Thai subsidiary. This follows the 2025 acquisition of Bi-Link, which integrated metal and plastic product lines to boost value-added services.

Profitability Outlook: The acquisition of Bi-Link resulted in a one-time bargain purchase gain of NT$418 million, contributing NT$4.65 to earnings per share in the second quarter. Management remains optimistic about the second half of the year as high-end audio products enter their traditional peak season.
