Sakura Taiwan reported a 5.9% year-over-year decline in September revenue, though growth in AI-enabled appliances and water purification consumables remains strong.
What Happened
Revenue Overview: Sakura Taiwan reported September consolidated revenue of NT$850 million, down 5.9% year-over-year, while cumulative revenue for the first nine months reached a record NT$8.127 billion, up 5.3%. The monthly decline is attributed to a high base effect from new water heater launches last year and ongoing inventory adjustments in retail channels.
Product Performance: Despite the dip, key product lines showed resilience, with AI-enabled appliance sales up 8% and water purification unit sales growing 5%. Revenue from water filter consumables surged 28%, highlighting the company's success in driving recurring revenue through its high-end product strategy.
Home Solutions Strategy: The home furnishing segment grew 9% year-over-year, driven by the delivery phase of previously contracted construction projects. By leveraging its "HOME in O.N.E" strategy, the company is deepening partnerships with developers to capture long-term service and upgrade opportunities.
Future Outlook: Management remains optimistic about the full-year performance, citing stable replacement demand for kitchen appliances and rising penetration of AI Kitchen solutions. The accumulation of recurring revenue from water purification consumables is expected to provide a consistent growth engine.
