Long Chen Paper has posted a 15.61% increase in cumulative revenue for the first ten months, signaling a significant turnaround in profitability.
What Happened
Revenue Performance: Long Chen Paper reported October consolidated revenue of NT$4.536 billion, a 10.3% year-on-year increase. Cumulative revenue for the first ten months reached NT$42.458 billion, reflecting a solid 15.61% growth compared to the same period last year.
Profitability Turnaround: The company achieved a pre-tax profit of NT$606 million for the first ten months, a significant improvement from the loss recorded in the previous year. This recovery is attributed to successful product mix optimization, enhanced production efficiency, and disciplined cost management.
Market Environment: Despite a slight dip in manufacturing PMI, large-scale enterprises remain resilient, supported by strong export momentum and steady growth in e-commerce and logistics. These factors continue to underpin demand for industrial paper and packaging materials.
Q4 Outlook: With the arrival of major shopping festivals like 11.11 and 12.12, along with year-end holiday stocking, the company expects a steady month-over-month improvement in operations. Analysts anticipate further profitability gains as downstream inventory replenishment accelerates through the end of the year.
