San Fu Chemical reported a 5.68% year-on-year revenue increase for October, driven by robust demand for advanced packaging chemicals from semiconductor clients.

What Happened

Revenue Growth and Outlook: San Fu Chemical reported October revenue of NT$451 million, a 5.68% increase year-on-year, with cumulative revenue for the first ten months reaching NT$4.154 billion. Analysts expect the company's operational momentum to remain positive through the fourth quarter, fueled by strong semiconductor industry demand.

Advanced Packaging Focus: Shipments of advanced packaging chemicals, particularly photoresist strippers, are rising steadily. To meet the growing demand for CoWoS capacity, the company is expanding its Shanhua plant, which is expected to optimize product mix and enhance overall profitability.

Expansion Details: The company has allocated up to NT$150 million for the Shanhua plant expansion, with an estimated construction timeline of eight months. This investment is primarily aimed at increasing stripper production capacity to support the requirements of its clients' U.S. facilities.

International Expansion: Beyond semiconductor chemicals, San Fu Chemical is expanding its gas business in Vietnam with a NT$300 million investment in an air separation plant in Ninh Binh province. This facility will supply local thermal management and electronics manufacturers, strengthening the company's supply chain presence in Northern Vietnam.
