Nanya PCB announced August revenue of NT$5.35 billion, reflecting a slight monthly dip but a strong 40.6% annual growth driven by robust AI-related demand.
What Happened
Revenue Performance: Nanya PCB reported consolidated revenue of NT$5.35 billion for August, representing a 1.6% monthly decrease but a robust 40.6% year-over-year growth. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months of the year reached NT$355.45 billion, marking a 39.6% increase compared to the same period last year.
Pricing Strategy: Regarding BT substrate pricing, Nanya indicated that raw material cost pressures have eased, and there are no current plans to raise prices further starting in Q4 2026. This stance deviates from previous market expectations that anticipated continuous quarterly price hikes.
ABF Substrate Outlook: In contrast to the BT segment, ABF substrates face ongoing supply constraints for critical materials like T-glass, leaving room for potential price increases. The company continues to monitor supply chain dynamics to manage cost fluctuations effectively.
AI Demand and Utilization: Driven by surging AI demand, Nanya's PCB and substrate production facilities in China are reaching full capacity. Analysts note that without long-term contracts, the company has successfully passed on rising production costs to customers through previous price adjustments.
