Fubon Momo reported record-breaking revenue of nearly NT$80 billion for the first nine months of the year, driven by strong iPhone sales and new subscription services.
What Happened
Revenue Performance: Fubon Momo announced September consolidated revenue of approximately NT$8.59 billion, an 8.2% year-over-year increase, bringing the total for the first nine months to nearly NT$80 billion. Both monthly and year-to-date figures reached historic highs for the company, reflecting steady operational growth.
Growth Drivers: The strong performance was largely fueled by the launch of the iPhone 16 Pro series, which triggered a significant upgrade cycle and boosted 3C appliance sales. Additionally, mid-autumn festival gift demand and the "99 Shopping Festival" promotional events provided a substantial lift to food and household goods categories.
Strategic Initiatives: To prepare for the upcoming 11.11 shopping festival, the company has introduced three new "moPro" subscription tiers to cultivate high-value customers. Simultaneously, the platform is scaling its "momo Ads" service to diversify revenue streams and strengthen its market position.
Member Engagement: Data indicates that moPro subscribers spend significantly more annually than standard members, highlighting the value of high-loyalty segments. By enhancing membership benefits and shopping convenience, the company aims to deepen customer retention and drive long-term platform loyalty.
