Fiberglass fabric manufacturer Fu-Chun reported a 341% year-on-year jump in September net profit, with margins hitting 51.9% as high-end product demand climbs.
What Happened
Financial Performance: Fu-Chun reported a stellar September, with net profit reaching NT$331 million, a 341.33% increase compared to the same period last year. Earnings per share hit NT$0.56, while the monthly gross margin soared to 51.9%, marking a 20.3 percentage point improvement year-on-year.
Operational Growth: The company's revenue for September stood at NT$938 million, up 82.14% annually, while gross profit surged 198.77% to NT$487 million. These figures highlight that the company is successfully improving its profitability alongside its expanding operational scale.
Product Strategy: Looking ahead, the company is prioritizing product mix upgrades, transitioning its Taiwan production capacity from Low DK1 to Low DK2 fiberglass fabrics. Furthermore, price hikes implemented in July for E-glass and FLD2 products are expected to provide continued support for revenue and profit margins in the coming quarters.
Future Outlook: To capitalize on AI server and satellite demand, Fu-Chun is investing NT$3.1 billion in a new facility in Thailand, scheduled for mass production in Q3 2027. Chairman Chang Yuan-pin confirmed that the new capacity has already been fully booked by customers, reinforcing the company's long-term high-end material strategy.
