Memory module maker ADATA reported record-breaking July revenue of NT$18.3 billion, fueled by strong AI demand and rising DRAM and NAND Flash prices.
What Happened
Record-Breaking Performance: ADATA reported a record-high consolidated revenue of NT$18.38 billion in July, representing a year-on-year increase of over 300%. With cumulative revenue for the first seven months of the year reaching NT$82.65 billion, the company has already significantly surpassed its total annual revenue for 2025.
AI-Driven Market Shift: Chairman Chen Li-pai stated that AI applications have become the primary growth engine for the memory market, replacing traditional PC and smartphone cycles. As the industry shifts toward long-term demand-driven growth, ADATA is seeing steady demand from PC, industrial, and enterprise clients, with channel inventories returning to healthy levels.
Pricing and Supply Dynamics: Favorable supply-demand conditions are expected to drive DRAM contract prices up by over 20% in Q3, with NAND Flash prices projected to rise by 35% to 40%. Supported by strong market demand, rising prices, and stable supply, the company expects its Q3 performance to exceed that of Q2.
Product Portfolio Breakdown: DRAM products accounted for 76.6% of ADATA's July revenue, contributing NT$14.08 billion, while SSDs accounted for 20.1%. The company's cumulative revenue growth of 206.7% for the first seven months of the year highlights its strong momentum and competitive position in the global memory market.
