Domestic Investor Confidence: Domestic participation in the market strengthened in August, with the proportion of retail investor transactions rising to 50.9%. This rebound suggests that local investors have regained confidence in the market, while foreign investor transaction volume saw a slight decline to 38.8%.
Increased Short-Term Trading: Market activity was further bolstered by a rise in short-term trading and day trading, with the latter accounting for 40.9% of total transaction value.
