Power management IC provider Silergy hit the daily limit as strong AI infrastructure and data center demand drove record-breaking monthly revenue.
What Happened
Financial Performance: Silergy reported a record-breaking September revenue of NT$2.511 billion, contributing to a historic quarterly high of NT$7.284 billion in Q3. Year-to-date revenue reached NT$18.14 billion, marking a significant 35.1% increase compared to the previous year.
Market Demand: The company attributes its growth to surging demand for AI infrastructure, specifically within data center power, communication modules, and storage applications. Management anticipates that this robust demand will persist over the next six months, with data center products yielding higher-than-average gross margins.
Strategic Outlook: Silergy expects long-term gross margin expansion driven by a higher mix of Gen 4 products, with plans to trial Gen 5 products next year. The company projects that data center applications could account for over 20% of its total revenue by next year.
Market Reaction: Driven by solid earnings results and optimistic outlooks for the AI supply chain, Silergy's stock price surged to the daily limit during intraday trading, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company's growth trajectory.
