Semiconductor material supplier New Material Tech has surpassed its previous annual profit in just nine months, driven by strong demand for advanced lithography materials.
What Happened
Financial Performance: New Material Tech reported a net profit of NT$1.175 billion for the first three quarters, with EPS of NT$12.56. This performance sets a new record and has already exceeded the total profit for the full year of 2025, with further growth expected as clients accelerate advanced process production.
Core Products: The company specializes in surface modifiers for semiconductor lithography, which are critical for improving yields in advanced processes. Demand for these high-end specialty materials continues to grow as major clients expand production in Taiwan and the U.S.
Expansion Plans: To meet rising demand, the company has allocated NT$2 billion in capital expenditure this year. The first phase of its Kaohsiung plant is at full capacity, with the second phase undergoing validation for a 2027 launch, while a new R&D center in Longtan is scheduled for completion in 2028.
Technology Roadmap: Beyond existing products, the company is developing next-generation lithography materials for 2nm nodes and beyond. By expanding into semiconductor packaging materials, New Material Tech aims to solidify its position in the advanced process supply chain.
