Fubon Multimedia's momo Ads platform has teamed up with Meta to help merchants expand reach beyond the platform, aiming to hit a 100 billion TWD revenue milestone.
What Happened
Strategic Partnership: Fubon Multimedia's advertising arm, momo Ads, has entered a strategic collaboration with Meta to assist growing merchants in overcoming high traffic costs and intense competition during the 11.11 shopping season. This partnership enables brands to extend their marketing reach from within the momo platform to external channels, significantly enhancing ad precision and conversion rates.
Financial Performance: momo's e-commerce operations have shown strong momentum, with September revenue reaching 8.92 billion TWD, an 8.2% year-on-year increase. Cumulative revenue for the first three quarters hit 79.82 billion TWD, marking a record high for the period and positioning the company to potentially exceed 100 billion TWD in annual revenue.
Advertising Growth: The momo Ads platform has successfully onboarded over 8,000 brands, maintaining double-digit growth in advertising revenue. By leveraging first-party data and consumer insights, the platform has proven the effectiveness of its integrated 'on-site plus off-site' advertising strategy, which remains in high demand among retailers.
Market Outlook: As e-commerce traffic becomes increasingly expensive, momo is focusing on strengthening its advertising ecosystem to help brands acquire customers more efficiently. This strategic move not only reinforces momo's competitive edge in the e-commerce sector but also provides a solid foundation for sustained revenue growth throughout the peak season.
